Invergordon Development Trust has donated raffle prizes it helped prepare for Park Primary, which was hit by fire two years ago, at the school for its Easter raffle.
The group said: “Two years ago, after the shock of seeing Invergordon’s oldest school, Park Primary, on fire, we at IDT asked local businesses to come together to help the school through through a charity auction. Unfortunately Covid has hit and put all of our plans on hold. So now we have made the decision to donate all the amazing prizes that local businesses have given us directly to Park Primary for their Easter raffle.
He thanked the companies for their kind contributions. These include Kincraig Castle Hotel, Tartan Creations by Yvonne Macrae, Glenmorangie, The Dalmore, Mike Ross Arts, Royal Dornoch Golf Club, ANTA Scotland, Inverness Kart Raceway, Fraser Brothers Building Supplies Ltd, Tain Golf Club and Ross County Football Club.
He added: “We hope everyone will receive a raffle ticket and support the school by improving the outdoor area for children at the Academy.”
Park Primary said it was “very grateful to all local businesses and groups for their kind donations following the fire”.
It read: ‘There are some amazing prizes to be won, so be sure to grab a ticket for our Easter raffle and in turn, you’ll also be helping us raise money for our outdoor spaces.
