Invergordon Tire Services is the latest dealership to join the Michelin Quality Center program.

An Easter Ross tire center has become the latest to join a well-known brand’s quality center program.

Invergordon Tire Services, established by executives Richard MacLeod and Gordon Sutherland in 1993, has become the latest company to join the Michelin Quality Center program.

The firm Easter Ross becomes one of the northernmost members of the project.

Mr. MacLeod said: “We have been selling Michelin tires almost from the beginning. It’s a brand we’re huge admirers of, so now having their endorsement as a Certified Dealer is something we’re very proud of.

“Invariably, when a retail customer asks for a tire brand by name, it will almost always be Michelin. We operate in a fairly remote part of the country, so drivers here need a product they can rely on and know will last a long time.

Invergordon Tire Services has just had the most successful year in its history and now employs 10 people, supplying and fitting tires for everything from the smallest cars to heavy machinery and machinery.

The company has set up a mobile assembly and repair fleet of six people to serve the community.

Mr. MacLeod added: “We are proud of the quality of our work and the reputation we have built over the past three decades. Our fiscal year ends on March 31 and we recorded our highest turnover ever, which we are very pleased with in the current economic climate. I guess that shows we have to do something right! »

Michelin says its Quality Centers are carefully selected, ensuring that staff are fully qualified, providing a high standard of service, while equipment and facilities must also be of the highest standard.

The Invergordon company will benefit from access to free on-site training for its team of technicians and participation in the Michelin mystery shopper program. He will also benefit from a full audit of his digital presence – with expert guidance from the Michelin team to help him maximize any online opportunities.

Based in Clermont-Ferrand, France, Michelin is present in 177 countries, has 124,760 employees and operates 68 tire production sites which together produced approximately 173 million tires in 2021.
