Christmas lights and funds for defibrillators have received a welcome boost as part of an £8,000 donation from Invergordon Development Trust (IDT).
IDT distributed funds raised to help groups that promote physical and mental well-being of all ages within the community.
This includes £2,000 for the Invergordon Community Council Festive Lights Project and £1,000 for the Saltburn & Westwood Community Council Defibrillator Project.
Also gifted with £1,000: Invergordon Bowling Club; Ross County Women’s Football Club; Walk in the Saltburn Woods; Invergordon Judo Club and Invergordon Golf Club.
IDT said: “I’m sure everyone will agree that the two community council projects will have a positive effect on all residents.
“We would also like to take this opportunity to celebrate and sincerely thank all of the incredible volunteers within these organizations who give freely of their time and do great work in supporting their clubs and groups.
“We will be posting more information about each of these groups over the next week and how our donations will help them continue to support the people of Invergordon.”
