The Book - "Small Community, Big Heart: The Invergordon Closer Settlement Story"

As part of the Invergordon 50 Years Celebrations a historical book outlining the 50 years of Closer Settlement at Invergordon has been completed. It includes early European settlement, development of the closer settlement, histories of the various groups and clubs, as well as histories of the school and the church. Also included are a few short family stories, business enterprises and recollections from settlers and others.


500 copies of the book were printed and there is still limited stock available. Should you wish to purchase a copy, the cost is $20.00 (plus postage if required). The book will be on sale at the Invergordon History Hall until sold out.
